This Island Nation Has The Most Powerful Passport In The World

As the author notes, the dominance of Asian passports at the top of the index is indicative of the ever-increasing power of that region. According to the Henley Passport Index, Japan overtook Singapore to claim the top spot in the battle for passport supremacy, with Singapore sitting just beneath in second place. Passports from those countries can provide access to 190 and 189 different destinations respectively.
