CNN covered the unique Q2 2020 edition of Henley & Partners’ Henley Passport Index (HPI). For the first time in 15 years, the leading passport power index that measures global travel freedom has been grounded, with more than half the world’s population currently living in lockdown. Dr. Kälin was quoted as saying that "as public health concerns and security rightfully take precedence over all else now, this is an opportunity to reflect on what freedom of movement and citizenship essentially mean for those of us who have perhaps taken them for granted in the past".
