Christian H. Kälin, 43, lawyer and partner at Henley & Partners – Henley in brief – is quintessentially Swiss. And yet he works in a business that could hardly be more international: investor immigration. He looks after an international, wealthy clientele who use their investments to acquire residence permits and sometimes even citizenships. Despite his Helvetian identity, Christian Kälin thinks in international terms: he lives the life of a global citizen – a status that involves holding more than one passport and possessing more than one citizenship.
