Henley & Partners Malta Forum 2014

The Maltese archipelago lies right at the center of the Mediterranean and consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo, and Comino. Malta is the largest island and is the nation’s cultural, commercial, and administrative center. Gozo, the second largest island, is more rural, with an economy driven by fishing, tourism, crafts, and agriculture. The official languages of the country are Maltese and English. Malta has an excellent climate, friendly people, and a very low crime rate. It is neutral, stable, and safe, with above-average economic growth. The country is emerging as a major international business center and has strong air links and connectivity. In 2014, Dr Christian Kälin, CEO and Chairman of Henley & Partners spoke at the Henley & Partners Forum, which was held in Malta that year. Watch highlights of the forum here.
